Healthy tips for a goodnight’s sleep

If you sleep less than six hours your craving for carbohydrates increases but metabolic rate decreases. This increases your body weight which would cause you to snore, have acid reflux and sleep apnea. Whenyour body signals that it wants to sleep follow it. Do not distract yourself by bringing your laptop to bed or anything that would derail your sleep onset.

“Study after study shows that when you sleep less than six hours, it increases carbohydrate craving, suppresses metabolism, increases body weight (especially central obesity), which then causes other problems like snoring, sleep apnea and acid reflux,”

Taking a warm bath or having a warm drink will raise your body temperature and your body will work to lower it. This produces early sleep onset. Getting into a routine also helps when you go to bed and wake up at the same time every day.
