Sleep Apnea and Enlarged Thyroids Relationship

According to a new study thyroidectomy could reduce symptoms of sleep apnea for sleep apnea patients.  Dr Rebecca Sippel, chief of the Section of Endocrine Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, presented this finding of the study at the annual meeting of the American Thyroid Association.
