Sleep Apnea : New Device to Detect

Scientists at Toronto Rehab have devised a prototype where you do not have to wear electrodes or be attached to a monitor like a cpap machine at the sleep study center.  It is a plastic mask-like device  that is held in place with fabric straps around the skull.   It’s shaped like a  wishbone with a microphone attached to it.

It’s a more comfortable alternative to cpap and has been approved by the majority of users on trial, at the comfort of their home.
